Back in business

Our new camera came today. Big I and I tested it out.


First he wanted to give a shout out via his wardrobe to his west coast aunties that he had so much fun with this past weekend. Can you read his new (to him) shirt? You might have to click.


We have a few things blooming:

the salvias (pardon the grass, we haven't had a chance to mow yet),


the bluebonnets,


and even the tomatoes.


The shade garden is looking very green and oh so relaxing when I walk over there. I added some Lenten Roses and a Coralberry this year.


And our new rainbarrel which works extremely well.


And best of all, the little elfish creature that hangs around here can help me water.

Both of our cameras have been out of commission. But Craig managed to coax one of them into taking a few pictures this morning. For the first full day of spring, I give you:

I leave the bathroom for one minute and the guys turn it into a roman bath or something.

Thank goodness they didn't put Big I's hair in the Turbie Twist I got for Christmas.

Snow Day!

It's been snowing continuously for over 13 hours now. That's really something around here. We took a great walk in the stuff this morning.


I made Big I some new mittens quick fast and in a hurry this morning since he lost one.


I'm going to need to redo them, but they got us through our walk. Got a scarf to match, too.

Learning through osmosis

Isn't that what they say when you fall asleep on your textbook?

Well, Big I had some friends over this morning and was extra tired. This is how he fell asleep on my lap and then continued to his bed.


He wouldn't even give the book up in his sleep.

I hope he learned something.
