Drum roll please....

Thanks to everyone who was interested in taking part in my little give-way. It was fun having some action on the blog and something to get a little excited about.

So, without further ado, our winner - chosen at random from the self-same hat being given away - is:

Congrats, Lisa. This should be something practical, yet fun for a busy mama. Shoot me an email with your address at ihiker AT aol DOT com and I'll send your prize out ASAP. I hope you enjoy it.

We'll have to do another of these soon!

And hopefully coming in the next post...something exciting here for once. It involves concrete.

  1. Congratulations, Lisa! Trust me, you'll love the scarf.

  2. Hello Emily,
I am not sure if you are still with the Corp of Engineers so I searched for you and found your blog (very fun!) Fall Round Up is coming up on October 10th, and the spinning guild I was working with is not able to supply a spinner. Would you be available for a portion of the event? Bring Big I and enjoy whether you can spin or not. He looks to be a couple of months older than my son Thomas (Dec 16)
    Hope to see you,

  3. I'm so glad Lisa won this - had I won I was going to give to her for Christmas so now she won't have to wait.

  4. Sometimes things work out just the way they should!

  5. Yay,

How exciting! I have never won a blog giveaway before. I have been thinking about having a giveaway myself and you inspired me to get it up. I posted it on last week & it goes on until 10/10. It is a Chinese Carnelian necklace that I made :) so far I have very little interest, so you would have a very good chance to win lol.

I didn't see a contact email for you here, you can contact email me and I can give you my mailing address :)

This so made my day :) Thanks!

  6. Just wanted to let you know that I got the hat and scarf in the mail the other day...they are beautiful! I swear they were made just for me, I love them. Thank you so much!

I will let you know when I have a picture up on my blog...sometime after a shower, when ever I can manage that lol.

  7. I'm so glad you liked them! I think I'll make another hat like that...I really liked how it came out.
